Airlie Beach Race Week

8th to 17th August 2014

Airlie Beach Race Week 2014 is the 25th annual regatta at this Whitsundays gateway. Racing around the islands of the Whitsunday Passage or around the bouys in Pioneer Bay, the weather is great and the scenery spectacular. There are racing divisions to suit all yachts from IRC for the sailing heavyweights to Cruising for those who prefer a less serious race. 

There is also plenty for the family in Airlie Beach: a great lagoon on the foreshore, resorts to visit, day trips around the islands, beaches and snorkelling.

Package Schedule

• 7th August: Sleepaboard the night beforehand at the Hamilton Island base. 
• 8th August at 9am: Pick up from Hamilton Island & boat briefing. Make your own way to Airlie Beach and register for the race.
• 9th - 15th August: Racing.
• 16th August: Free time. Later on, you will need to return the boat back to Hamilton Island.
• 17th August at 10am: Leave the boat and debrief at 10am.
