COVID-19 Travel Restrictions in Dubrovnik

Please view Croatia's latest travel requirements in response to COVID-19 below. Sunsail will continue to monitor these updates to keep our guests informed of any changes.

We would also advise that you contact your airline for the most up to date information around entry requirements and re-entry to your home country.

*Please check that this information is applicable for your departure country, as selected countries are not allowed to enter certain sailing destinations.

While Croatia is opening its borders for international travelers, certain policies and procedures will need to be followed when entering the country, before and during your stay there.

Before You Go

All Travellers:
  • All COVID entry requirements to enter Croatia have been dropped.
  • Valid travel documents and travel visas are still required as it was before covid. 
  • Submit your full guest list in advance of travel to us via the manage my booking link
  • We recommend purchasing travel insurance

When You Arrive

  • You must wear a face masks in all enclosed spaces where it is not possible to maintain a distance of 1.5 m.

During Your Charter

  • Food, drinks, beverages and sweets can be served exclusively to guests sitting at table
  • Bakeries and shops selling bread and bakery products can be open until 12 AM
  • If you test positive for COVID-19 during your charter, please contact your insurance provider for advice. If the yacht is available, we will keep you on the vessel and support you during the isolation period. If the yacht is unavailable and we have another yacht, we will move you to the new vessel and support you during the isolation period. If no vessel is available, we will look for a hotel or accommodation to stay at and support you during the isolation period.
  • We are dedicated to giving you peace of mind when you charter with us. Our industry-leading safety measures include the fogging and disinfecting of all yachts before each charter begins.

Covid-19 Testing Centres in Dubrovnik

Dubrovnik-neretva county Public Health Institute:

  • No drive-in testing available, results within 6 hours
  • Working hours are Monday to Saturday 07:30 to 10:00 AM
  • Appointments are required

Dubrovnik General Hospital:
  • Address: Dr. Roka Mišetića 2, 20 000 Dubrovnik
  • Phone: +38520 431 731
  • Working hours: 7:30 to 10:00 AM in drive-through location (Monday through Saturday, not working on Sundays) 
  • Results can be provided within 12-24 hours
  • Commercial testing must be with appointments done exclusively through email [email protected]@bolnica-du.hr. Must provide name and surname, date of birth, passport number and citizenship, phone number, and email if you wish the test report emailed to you.

Dubrovnik Health Centre:

  • Address: Dr. Ante Starčevića 1, 20 000 Dubrovnik
  • Phone: +385 99 52 91 888, +385 20 641 613 
  • Working hours: 07:00 – 20:00 Monday to Sunday. COVID-19 testing is only done 8-9 AM for PCR and 9-10 AM for antigen (ICT) tests.
  • Testing will not be done if you just show up in Dubrovnik Health Center. Mandatory call and appointment is required here.
