Sunsail Sailing Holidays in the Bahamas
Abacos Base
The islands of the Bahamas form an archipelago that extends over 500 miles of the clearest water in the world. With the world's third longest barrier reef and nearly a quarter of the world's coral lying in their waters, these islands are simply not to be missed.
The Abacos are known for their white sandy beaches, crystal clear waters and line-of-sight sailing. Our new base at Marsh Harbour, the centre of the Abacos, is the perfect place to cast off and explore the surrounding hot spots. Head straight over to Hope Town, home to the famous striped lighthouse, to enjoy a cocktail or two as you watch the sun set over Elbow Cay. While exploring the islands to the north make sure you don't miss Treasure Cay - one of National Geographic's top 10 beaches.
Once you've sailed the Bahamas you'll understand why these islands just off the coast of Florida are loved by sailors the world over.
Top Tip:
Take the family to visit Mickey and friends in Disney World, Florida. Just an hours flight away from here.
