From our base you will set sail into the Atlantic Ocean, which can often be challenging and is a great place to really get to grips with a variety of sailing conditions that will provide you with some solid experience and the confidence to be able to deal with a wide variety of conditions in your sailing future.

Marina Rubicon is located between a picturesque fishing village at Playa Blanca and the wonderful Papagoya beaches.  This sheltered area boasts the best climate on the whole island with all year round sunshine but with good winds.  Spend some time before or after your course, exploring some of the beautiful beaches that surround the area.

Our base at Marina Rubicon boasts modern facilities with a range of dining options allowing you to soak up the relaxed island charm.  Here, you can also take advantage of free use of the onsite tennis courts and swimming pool and you will leave with fond memories of a fun packed week and a passion for one of the world's most exhilarating sports.

 Courses

In addition to the RYA Competent Crew and Day Skipper Practical courses that we offer from our school in Lanzarote, this destination also provides the opportunity to experience the five day Milebuilder or the twelve day instructional Canary Island cruise.

 Sailing Conditions

Great year round sailing conditions with occasional strong winds and big swells.  Tidal range two metres.

NB. Both RYA courses are 5 days and 5 nights living aboard.  Prices are based on course only and are flight exclusive.
