Sailing School Courses in Greece
NEW for 2010, Sunsail have opened a Yacht Sailing School at Vounaki, offering a wide choice of courses for you to get qualified up to Day Skipper level.
In the southern Ionian, our marina and dedicated Sunsail Beach Club are nestled at the base of the Arkanika Mountains. It's perfectly placed with Paleros Village only a 15 minute walk away and Levkas just a short sail across the water.
The great sailing conditions and easy line-of-sight hops make this an ever popular destination for sailors still perfecting their manoeuvres, so is a great place for learning to sail. Combine this with an ever changing coastline, picturesque villages and delicious, freshly prepared cuisine and this destination will become a firm favourite for your sailing course, whatever your level.
Courses
Vounaki offers a wide range of courses. In addition to RYA Competent Crew and Day Skipper Practical courses, you can complete a Flotilla/Holiday Training Course as well as your One Day Risty Skipper course if you haven't been out on the water for a while.

The Sunsail Sailing School at Vounaki is open between May and October.
Sailing Conditions
Gentle morning breezes are from the south. However, prevailing winds increase at midday from a north westerly direction.
On board accommodation
Shared cabins on board a Sunsail Odyssey 42.2. Sole occupancy is available on request at an extra charge (please contact the reservations team for further details). Bedding & towels are provided. Marina fees are included. Prices include all breakfasts and lunches on board and one evening meal at sea.
