The Royal Langkawi International Regatta offers both the serious racing sailor and the cruising yachtsman the finest in racing and hospitality.

The lovely natural surroundings of Langkawi combined with the friendly people of the island make this destination an ideal venue for this first class international  regatta.

Raja Muda International Regatta

This is Malaysia's premier yachting regatta, combining seven days of active racing, cruising and great parties with ample breaks to enable you to savour some of the sights and charms of Malaysia.

The regatta starts from the Royal Selangor Yacht Club in Port Klang with an overnight passage to Pangkor.

The final leg to Langkawi is often dramatic with strong North East Monsoon winds providing excellent sailing conditions. 

A series of windward / leeward races over the next two days completes the regatta with final prize giving at the Royal Langkawi Yacht Club.
