Grenada really is the spice island of the Caribbean. Untouched by mass tourism it possesses a feeling of a forgotten time. The capital of the island St George’s, which is home to Sunsail’s base, is said to have the most picturesque waterfront in the whole of the Caribbean. The island’s history is alive here with old colourful houses, forts and buildings that have stood the test of time. If you want to step even further back in time, Grenada also consists of two smaller islands, Carriacou and Petite Martinique, which offer an even slower pace of life and are both in easy reach of the mainland. The friendly locals on the islands welcome visitors with open arms and will immerse you in their way of life.
