Our Sunsail Beach Club offers the best in activity holidays for those with a sense of adventure.

Located in Vounaki, Greece, you can enjoy all the action both on the water and onshore with inclusive use of the latest sailing, watersports and sports kit, or simply relax by the pool while the children have great fun in the fantastic all day Kids Club.

About Club Vounaki

A modern Club with a traditional Greek feel, sailing is like a way of life here; relaxed and easy.  The sheltered bay has gentle cross-shore winds, making it the perfect place to learn to sail, windsurf, waterski or wakeboard.  Conditions build further out, making this part of the Ionian ideal for yacht sailing or a Club Flotilla.

There are two bars offering a wide selection of traditional food and an a la carte restaurant to tempt your taste buds.

New Sailing School in Vounaki for 2010

NEW in 2010, Sunsail have opened a Yacht Sailing School at Vounaki, offering a wide choice of courses for you to become qualified up to Day Skipper level.

The great sailing conditions and easy line of sight hops make this an ever popular destination for sailors still perfecting their maneouvres, so is a great place for learning to sail.  Combine this with an ever changing coastline, picturesque villages and delicious, freshly prepared cuisine and you're sure to have a learning experience you'll never forget!

Courses Available:

  • RYA Competent Crew
  • RYA Day Skipper Practical (non-tidal)
  • One Day Rusty Skipper
  • Flotilla Training Course

Vounaki is open May-October.

Accommodation & Meals:

Shared cabins on board a Sunsail Odyssey 42.2.  Sole occupancy is available on request at an extra charge.  Bedding and towels are provided and marina fees are included.  Your course price also includes all breakfasts and lunches on board and one evening meal at sea.  Meals ashore are at students own expense.
