Sunsail Guarantee

Sunsail 4-hour Guarantee:

We maintain our yachts to the highest standards, and back up our commitment to these standards with this Guarantee. If during a sailing day (8am to 5pm) your yacht is out of commission for as little as four hours after notifying the nearest base, we will give you compensation towards your next
Sunsail charter of 5 days or more. The Sunsail 4-hour Guarantee covers engine, transmission, windlass, sails, rigging, battery and alternator.

Excluded from The Sunsail 4-hour Guarantee are cellular phones, VHF radio, refrigeration, air conditioning, CD player, marine toilets, water pump, dinghy and outboard, depth and log instruments and any other items that do not prevent yacht usage. Breakdowns occurring outside the agreed sailing
area or due to user negligence, bad weather and Force Majeure are also excluded from The Sunsail 4-hour Guarantee.

The time of breakdown will start from the point when direct contact is made between the charterer and Sunsail. If we are unable to resolve the problem within four hours, we will guarantee a credit towards a future Sunsail charter of 5 days or more. Sunsail management and the party leader must agree on the time lost and complete a guarantee form, prior to departure at the end of the charter. This information will then be communicated to the relevant Sunsail office.
